Cloudy skies today with some fog and a streak of sunshine now and then. The Eagle was about 150-200 feet in distance and was shot at 600mm.

Regis when I'm in Alaska this coming late May hopefully I will be close enough to an eagle to even attempt a shot this good! 8-)

My 6D is supposed to be delivered today and I can't wait! If I shot with the 7D at 1600 I would have a lot of noise! Fine image!

Hello Regis, I cancelled my Sigma 150-600 (backordered still) and went ahead with the Tamron 150-600 yesterday...I should get it today...excited... :-D

with the extra cash from the Sigma added a battery grip, an extra battery, a Manfrotto MK055xPro tripod and a Lenscoat cover for the lens to my order...

Vic

Thank you, Vic. You made a wise decision. I'm sure the Sigma 150-600mm Sport is a good lens, but do you want to pay about $1000 more for a heavier lens?

Yes a great shot. I rented the 150-600 Sigma sport and get it on the 22nd. I sure hope to get some shots that good.[/quote]

Thank you, O2Ra. The Sigma lens is a good but heavier lens than mine.
