Great set of images, looks like a trip of a lifetime! Keep posting . . . waiting for more, and the best to you and Kent for 2015!

thanks Don, it really was a great time
Happy New Year to you too
I keep an eye on your weather and so far you have been about as cold as us--we just only have about and inch or two of snow
so that is nice

I remember seeing a documentary on the Killing Fields. Beautiful. I am waiting to see some more. :)
Thank you for sharing these.

Thanks Judy, I feel after being at all these places I want to do some research on them to know more about the history. I had been so busy I never checked out at all where we were going, as some of them had done lots of research, so each day was an exciting surprise for me!

Beautiful series! What equipment did you use?

thank you

I have a Sony A65 and wanting to travel light I just took my 18-250 lens and the 16-55 2.8 I wear a vest to carry my extra stuff in but at times it was too hot for that so I just had to use the lens on the camera till we got back to the bus!

Absolutely beautiful! I wish I could have gone with you. :-)

too bad it didn't work out. Besides all the beauty we really did have FUN too.Ended up with a small size group of 13 [usually 20-30] and 7 had DSLRs, one guy with an ipad and two with point and shoots, one cell phone, and one couple with no cameras---he signed up for the trip and didn't read the fine print and they thought they were going to a beach! A young engaged couple who ended up on a bus trip riding elephants with us old people....but I think they decided old people can be fun too. We did get to do some extra things because of our small sized group and it was decided to leave an hour earlier each morning than normal to allow more time for shooting.

I feel very fortunate that in Dec. I was able to make a two week trip to SE Asia, including Cambodia, Thailand, Laos, and Vietnam. I ended up with 5000 photos that I am slowly going through. Making minor adjustments now in picassa and determined to teach myself elements yet this winter! So I have decided to share some of my favorites as friends here having been asking to see some.
Our first stop was in Cambodia, we were there for 4 days with Phnom Penh the first stop

What a lovely travel series plessner!
