I feel very fortunate that in Dec. I was able to make a two week trip to SE Asia, including Cambodia, Thailand, Laos, and Vietnam. I ended up with 5000 photos that I am slowly going through. Making minor adjustments now in picassa and determined to teach myself elements yet this winter! So I have decided to share some of my favorites as friends here having been asking to see some.
Our first stop was in Cambodia, we were there for 4 days with Phnom Penh the first stop
All the hotels were very beautiful and modern with air conditioning and the only fully functional flushing toilets for the whole trip were at the hotels!
First stop of the morning was at the Royal Place Complex
All was magnificent and beautiful
I liked the colors in this one!
I don't remember where we were with these beautiful red buildings--will have to get in touch with some who kept better notes than I did
sometimes it was so amazing you just had to stop and say"OH WOW"
A sobering stop at a place called The Killing Fields
that evening-- all this was the first day--we were treated to a traditional meal and a show. We were done with breakfast and on the bus every morning by 7:30 and they kept us busy many evenings till 8pm. Very busy--that's the way i like it! I will try and add a post every day till i run out of photos or you get tired of them!
Nice set, Thanks for sharing.
