You did just fine, Kim. I was just teasing. That's a great shot. The hawk looks cross-eyed.

I wonder why Canon uses the "AV" (Aperture Priority) rather then just using AP.
The same for "TV" (Shutter Priority) rather then just SP.
M stands for Manual and P stands for Program. So why not just call
AV and TV for what they are?

Agreed. P,A,S,M for everyone. (Actually Nikon has a term or two that doesn't explain something but they are less confusing to the newbies than someone "speaking Canon").

because NIKON owners being intelligent, wise and sexy, know instinctively they are values, s and a make much more sense. canon owners on the other hand being more dimwitted (obviously otherwise they would own nikons) need the extra help!!!!!!!!! no i am not serious, just being a trouble maker and riot starter. gee that makes me qualified to lead the occupy movement.

There is no justification for your right wing political diatribes on a photography forum. If this is what you prefer to do find the proper venue for it, such as the New York Times Discussion Board.

Wouldn't that be PV for personal value?

That looks like an owl to me, but then again I'm cross-eyed. :)

Sinatraman, I agree, you would be qualified to lead the occupy movement as it is made up of Nikon and PC users. Canon and Mac users are way too intelligent for that group. (Just adding to your humorous entry)

Those were my exact thoughts when I read that post. I have always owned Canon, be they film or digital, but have always dreamt of owning a Hasselblad or a Bronica. Although I have never had either brand in my hand, I have always heard about how great they were. And expensive. Cheers.

I bought Pentax because of the low light capabilities and the lenses that are available.

cranky are we? just where in my comment did i make a right wing political diatribe? I poked fun at the marxist occupy movement. Opps another right wing diatribe from me. and for the record since the New York Times is the epicenter of LEFT WING POLITICAL DIATRIBE just like all the other media sources except fox, i don't think they would post my stuff. in conclusion, you have a problem, you do know how to send a pm don't you comrade? One last thought, what part of FREEDOM OF SPEECH are you and your liberal friends having trouble understanding?
