Here are several lined up waiting their call to enter the port as the Sun sets behind the Florida Coast... Kind of like an airport traffic pattern..
Unfortunately, at this small resolution the several ships at the waterline are almost impossible to see, even though they have their lights on..
They still are quite nice. The ships appear as cityscapes to a deree.

Great shots
Thanks. These were photographed in Key West. Mallory Square has docking for the large cruise ships. Never been on one but hope to soon. I'll try to find some of those images, but at that time I was not so interested in the big ships.
Shot on the River Fal in Cornwall, UK. Due to a shortage of trade, worldwide, these ships are moored there just waiting for the economy to improve.
A couple of years ago I sailed from Honolulu to San Diego on the USNS Bridge with my son, a merchant marine officer. Occasionally Navy and other ships attached to the fleet allow family members to sail with the ship. They call it a Tiger cruise.
During our week long trip we refueled a number of ships including the USS Ronald Reagan aircraft carrier. We gave the carrier jet fuel for the planes on board. The Bridge had a contingent of Navy members on board manning two helicopters used to transport goods from one ship to another.
I thought you might enjoy seeing a few of my photos. I am going to enter two batches. (I hope....this is the first time I have done this)
Fueling the Ronald Reagan
Ronald Reagan crew attaching hoses
Navy helos took off and landed from our rear deck
We didn't enter the San Diego harbour. This boat came to collect us.
Here is a photo I took back in the late 70's in Savanna, Ga. I always thought it looked ok in the photo album, but I see it needs a lot
of help!
