Any one have any shots of them
I have a couple, but no where near as nice as yours.
I took these shots while in Rogers City. We were standing on the breakwater watching the freighters come and go from the worlds largest limestone quarry.
I was trying out my 70mm-300mm lens. I had it on a tripod, but the wind was whipping. I was also using manual focus.
The first shot was at 1.1250, f11.0, 135mm; the second was shot with the same settings as the first only I had the focal length set at 210mm, the third was 1/160, f22, 300mm.
Any suggestions on making these better.
I played with all of them in PSE, and tried to crop to a better composition, unfortunately I shot them all pretty much dead center.

How neat to get the opportunity to take this shot.
Here are several lined up waiting their call to enter the port as the Sun sets behind the Florida Coast... Kind of like an airport traffic pattern..
Unfortunately, at this small resolution the several ships at the waterline are almost impossible to see, even though they have their lights on..

This guy slides by my house every Monday on his way back and forth from Bermuda. Kinda shook me up the first time I looked out there and saw a 260' container ship in my backyard.
