Naval Jelly isn't a lubricant it is a remover of rust and corrosion and a lubricant should be used after the naval jelly.

wlgoode, your are 100% correct ! Even I know that Naval Jelly is a rust remover and it has never been a protective coating to prevent further rust ! Heck, I first used some of my parents Naval Jelly to remove rust from a metal toy when I was a kid, and I am now 70+ years of age..

Thanks for confirming. Didn't want others to be confused since we were talking about lubes. I say use naval jelly for rust removal, sandpaper for removing burrs and White Lightning Easy Lube for protectant Lube and you'll have a great result.

Chasing Auroras..

What a super capture of the Northern Lights. Composition is beautiful in the way the rocks in the foreground lead to the mountains and then the Auroras. Very nicely done Kalina.
