The 645 is not near as heavy as the RB6x7.

I had some lenses get stuck when I live down in MS. and the viewfinder also was sticking and the cost was more than I wanted to spend at the time. I really thought that I wanted to go digital. So I sold the set up and Now I miss it so. I have a small digital that we use for snap shots and quick stuff. So that being said I really miss the size the weight and the picture of the 645. so I am watching ebay maybe I will find what I want there. Thanks to all, for your responses. John

I have TWO very clean 645s and several lenses that I would like to sell if you are interested. These are 1980s vintage 1000S models. I also have some other accessories as well. I am not at home at the moment but will send you the exact specs when I get back on Sunday. I'll send you my email address if you are interested.

I have two bodies, a straight 645 and a 645M, and the following lenses: 210, 80, 55, 45, macro, 2x extender, waist hood, prism hood, several film backs both 120 and 220. If anyone is interested, send me an offer. Everything was in super shape the last time I used it (about 6 years ago).

I have made a living with the Mamiya
645 from 1984-2004 than I went digital, good camera only flash sync at 60th unless you get a leaf shutter lense, check for light leaks around the back door and 120/220 inserts may wrap loosely on used equipment. Feel free to email me.

I have two very clean ones with lenses if you want to buy them. I used them for most of the 90s until digital came along. Before that I used a Mamiya C330 TLR. The quality of the pictures that comes from these medium format cameras is better in some cases that I have seen from digital.

Cool! Me too! C330 was an awesome camera.

Seems everyone that had one, had two! LOL, G.A.S. was prevalent even back then!

I used to have a 1000s & also used the C330. I'd love to have a Mamiya 7. A beautiful camera….

I still have my 645 Pro with several lenses and backs. Never yet found anything to beat the chromes from this camera. To me it was just a little bit bigger 35mm! But what a difference that little bit makes! I am thinking about buying a couple of used lenses to enlarge my kit and was looking at some stuff at KEH. They had the lenses I wanted, but I never checked for a body. You may want to check there. In the days when I did weddings, I used this camera exclusively for the group shots. Good luck. Happy Holidays to ALL!

I have and still occasionally use both a Mamiya 645 and a Mamiya, both only with Fujichrome 50, in special situations where I feel I can do better with the Fuji's enhanced color and the larger format. I generally end up scanning the negatives for prints, or rarely, sending the negatives out for drum scans. The expense of the latter makes that useful only for truly special photos.

Second camera is Mamiya 7, a 6x7 rangefinder camera.
