To give people like you work. You are awfully hard on me for someone sensitive. Give me a break. I won a smack down contest on a sports site once. Maybe I have a hard time getting out of character. Have some compassion. You are also very gullible to believe all the unsubstantiated claims that people put out on the Internet. Maybe you should watch Dr. Phil.

Frank, what the hell are talking about? You make no sense whatsoever. I don't mind giving anyone a break, but why don't you give SWINDELL a break and apologize for the unnecessary remark about sending a photo of your grandmother? That was simply uncalled for.

OK. I have been going through some census records. I don't think that you mentioned Cox in the original post. How does that surname fit in? I will do some more looking.

Prove to me that this person is really looking for someone and I will apologize. I dont believe 90% of the stories that are told online. I thing you are very gullible. Some of the comments on this subject looked funny. So I threw one in. Could be a teen having a laugh at your expense.

They are bored and have fun making gullible people jump through hoops online. I'm not saying that this is the case here. I am very skeptical of online stories ( mostly made up) and this seems to be a strange format for a missing persons search. Don't believe it. Sorry.

How can I not know my mother's last name, the reason is when I was 3 years of age 1936 we were separated. Do not remember what she look like. As I said 1936 I was put in foster homes, and never heard of her since. I have a copy on her Divorce Record, she was divorce in 1936. She may have got married again. After 61 years searching there is no records on her. I do not know her last name when she died.AS THE OLD SAYING IS NO LAST NAME NO CAN FIND.

According to your your post, you are 81 years-old, and one would assume that your mother would be, if still alive, at least in her middle or late nineties. Not knowing her entire marriage history, looking for an unknown name is most unlikely to find her even if you only look in the obituaries. I empathize with you but i think you will fail in your search unless you cannot add some data.

Mr Cox is my Biological father, he was born Jan. 1880. This coming Jan. 2015 he would be 135 years of age.

Was this marriage to Mr. Cox or to Mr. Robbins?
What full name did your mother use on the marriage record?
What county or city in NY did the marriage take place?
What was were the names used on the divorce record?
Where did the divorce take place?

These are all vital questions just to get started, and even then without knowing about later marriage or marriages it will be next to impossible to search.
