At one time maybe 100 yrs. ago practical thinking people condemned the "Horseless Carriage". Practical people said it was a foolish machine that would never replace the horse. Some communities would not allow them to drive through their town because they frightened the horses. Thank goodness the practical thinking people lost the argument. The same thing will happen to you practical thinkers.

Isn't it amazing that Buffett bought up all these rights after Obama became president?

Oh, maybe it was before....under Bush?

It was both, and well before that.......most were bought under Clinton.

Of course, who cares who was Prez when he did it......if it was a Koch, the nutso Reid/Pelosi/Obama left would be screaming for charges to be filed.

Thank you. You just reinforce my statement on how blind you people are. No matter who owns what, no one can make a drought. The water shortage is real. Has nothing to do with water management. It has to do with a lack of rain.

Thank you for reinforcing my statement on what blockheads you guys are. As blockheads, prefer rumor, anger, and dogma over actual data.......that's just how a blockhead rolls.

Right from the EPA:

"On average, total annual precipitation has increased over land areas in the United States and worldwide (see Figures 1 and 2). Since 1901, global precipitation has increased at an average rate of 0.2 percent per decade, while precipitation in the contiguous 48 states has increased at a rate of 0.5 percent per decade."

As you can easily read, the issue isn't precipitation, as it is up. It's the mismanagement of water in micro-areas, along with the cyclical change of the environment in any given small (even micro) area caused by a variety of factors, including sun spots, ocean currents, and things like concrete and blacktop!

There is no water to manage. One community in Texas is recycling waste water for use as potable water. There is a lack of snow melt in the spring. Take a look at Lake Meade water levels and dried up lakes in Texas. Las Vegas is paying homeowners to remove their grass lawns and replace with stone. You need to watch something other than Fox News.

...and you need to step away from MSNBC and Rachel Maddow. For every area with a drought I can name one with too much precipitation. I'm sure Buffalo, NY is worried about a drought as we speak, eh?

Sorry for my assumption. You must have a computer. Search water levels Lake Meade or Texas drought. It's kind of scary. Water out west will be much more important than oil.

Again, no shit! But just spend a little time looking at the complete mismanagement of the water supply! Cali, especially L.A., has, and continues to, ruin the water story for everyone along the watershed. The inland empire is turning to dust as they save the H2O for darter fish, and salmon.

Salmon! They have already proven the salmon will use other rivers for spawning if started there (research the studies of salmon now spawning on S. Americas west coast). The problem is you cannot tell an Eco-terrorist anything, especially with data, because they prefer a low population Stone Age.

At one time maybe 10 years ago, Republicans & fossil fuel pundits scoffed at the the "Hydrogen fuel cell ".
Republicans and other fear based Fossil Fools said it was a foolish machine that would never replace the
internal combustion engine . Some communities buffaloed by fox news , Rush Limbaugh & his sheepish ilk
would not allow them to drive through their town because they frightened the Republicans & fossil fuel
fanatics.

Thank goodness the republicans and backwards looking right wing freaks lost the argument.
The republicans always lose in the end. They always lose. Humanity will move forward in spite
of you. You can't stop the progressive movement. You never ever have been able to- and you never will...

That's funny.....I don't remember the "Republicans" ginning up opposition to hydrogen fuel cells. I do remember a few liberal groups speaking against it , though.

You sure you have that right, buckaroo?

Are you talking about the same "progressives" that believed so deeply in eugenics?

The same progressives that supported a flat earth (yes, that was the stance of liberal science at the time)?

You should try reading some science sometimes......I would suggest Julian Simon and Bjorn Lomborg, to start.

Republicans are in the pocket of the fossil fuel industry. I can explain it to you, but I can’t understand it for you!

This would be fine if everyone moved to Buffalo. There are deserts in Africa and Austrailia as well as the U.S. , gee, does this stupid fact bolster my position?

Of course they're owned by the fossil fuel industry and big business in general. Otherwise, why would the GOP be so against the idea of global warming? Republicans politics has always favored big business over the lower and middle class. If global warming is indeed a fact, then it will hurt companies that pollute. Don't believe me? Just ask Mitch McConnell.

Republicans are in the pockets of big pharma, Big-agra, Big-oil, Big-mining, Big Money. Republicans hate the poor people, the middle class, small business, Regulation of food, the environment, clean water, clean air, clean energy. What ever is good for Humanity moving forward, Republicans are against.

Why?
