Which offends you more, the jobs, the royalties to the land owners and states, or the lower energy prices?

Don't forget the oil is just passing through the US and will not supply the us oil supplies. Also, the Koch oils sands
are the dirtiest oil on the planet and chew up vast swaths of land
making it a toxic wasteland afterwards.

So what if it is just passing through. Think about the jobs it will provide. Not only that, think about the oil that we do import... we can and will tap into the pipeline at a lower import price. And who do you think will be doing the exporting. Our ports. Money... Money... Money...!

If Obama was for it - so would you... tink about that.

Love the pictures. I see a lot of that here in Louisiana.

Once the construction -- which would last no more than two years -- wraps up, Keystone XL
will have created just 50 permanent jobs -- the number needed to maintain the pipeline.
Big deal.
Also, The State Department said Keystone XL would have "little impact" on domestic gas prices.
Big benefits for Koch, Not so much (as usual) for American workers.

Also-

If Obama was for it I would still be against it. :-)

The one thing I agree on is it would get that oil off those substandard DOT-111 train cars moving through the US. --->

So....It's OK for conservatives, like the Koch brothers, to benefit from installing the pipeline, but, it's NOT ok if Buffet benefits from NOT installing the pipeline?

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm......can you say double standard?

The Jobs? Are you for real? according to the State department, this idiotic pipeline will create 35 permanent jobs - not 350, not 3500, not 35,000. A whopping 35. All for transporting incredibly dangerous and polluting oil to Louisiana where EVERY drop will be exported. One report actually predicts that oil prices in this country will rise if this comes to pass.

Don't know where you get your 50 job number from, but just for argument I will accept it. And really what is 50 jobs, unless of course you are one of the currently un-employed. And why, when democrats count jobs the GM give away susposely saved do you count all associated jobs, but Keystone Pipeline jobs you only want to count the one guy who paints the sign.

Lets not transport it safely in a pipe, lets run it in trucks or rail cars where it is really a moving hazard. Get real dip wad! And your job numbers are bull, and you know it. Try honesty once, you may like it. And Obama and his lackies have repeatedly been prove liars, so don't quote thier lies and expect anyone to beleive them.

You almost said it all. A more indepth, more consist, better thought out, and even more articulately explanation was not expected. You only failed in two areas. Firstly, you failed to blame President Bush. And secondly, you failed to call me, and anyone else who disagrees with you, a bigoted racist.

In all sincere sarcasm, let me thank you for your lesson in debate, discussion, and logic.

Then liberals wonder why conservatives feel it is a waste of time to openly discuss anything with a liberal. Go Figure.
