The only adapter I see on B&H is for Nikon F and G mount lenses to the Sony E mount body.

I read that the auto focus is not as good as what it replaced. Is this true? I wounded why it's used.

What!!! I have an a6000, and the autofocus is amazing...spot on and super fast. The image quality is great, even with the kit lens. The camera is a bargain for the price. The viewfinder does however take getting used to n

I bought one new about 3-4 months ago and I love it. There are things I would change, but not much. Great pictures. My ex-wife just returned from Japan today and brought me an 18-200 lens for it which I'm anxious to put to the test. This does mean I have an almost brand new 55mm-210mm to sell at a bargain.

I'm planning to take this guy with me to Europe next summer. One month of bumming around and then 2 weeks on a Med cruise.

To be honest, I rarely carry my Nikon DSLR around with me anymore. (I still use it on formal shoots, mostly because of the twin SDcard slots.)

If you buy this, also purchase David Busch's Sony Alpha 6000/ILCE-6000 Guide to Digital Photography. The Sony manual which you can download from the website is awful. Busch's books are worth the $24. There are many features you'll never discover without Busch's help.

Another 3rd party manual to look at for the A6000 is this one:

http://friedmanarchives.com/alpha6000/index.htm

Gary Friedman is THE best 3rd party manual writer in the business.

He is literally a Rocket Scientist and award winning photographer and author who is the BEST in the business bar none.

His books are EXTREMELY detailed, covering every last single function and feature of a camera in plain, easy to understand, common sense English (and Spanish). He also give you his recommendations for settings based on the type of shooting you plan to do, and explains not just how, but WHY you should use those settings and specific functions.

His books are REALLY good; so good in fact that he gives you a two week satisfaction or your money back guarantee... unheard of in this business.

He also ENCOURAGES people to email him with questions, corrections, and their experiences. I can tell you for a fact that he answers those emails quickly and if he can give you the information you need, he'll give suggestions on where you can get it.

His ebooks are also downloadable on multiple platforms for one low price, so you can download copies to your laptop, tablet, smartphone, and desktop, all for the same low price provided you do so within the time period (usually 3 days after purchase.)

Once you buy a Friedman book, you won't buy another from anyone else. ;)

I have several Friedman books for my Sony cameras and I am VERY satisfied.

I bought the Busch book for my A350 and my A77. I also bought the David Taylor book for my A77. Friedman's books blow them COMPLETELY out of the water.

The only complaint I have about Friedman is his lag time between the release date of a camera and his publication dates... but there is VERY good reason for the delay. He takes his time and does a THOUROUGH evaluation of each camera. Busch on the other hand, cuts and pastes a good percentage of his books over and over again and after you've read a couple of his books you see the pattern.

Friedman's books are VERY VERY good. You would be happy with what you get for TWICE the price. ;)

Are you still interested in buying a Sony A6000. I might sell this for what I paid or take it back.

It has its own built in small flash and a hot shoe that you can connect any other flash of your choice but you returned it??????
I don't understand your reasoning

Lots of reasons. First is flash exposure can not match my Nikon D750 not even close. I have read about it one some reviews too. It does not focus as good as my Nikon D750. I have owned both now. I can't see keeping it and that kind of money tied up in something I'm not that sure about. Do you understand now? I still think it's a nice camera but not for me. I guess I'm spoiled over the Nikon D750. The best camera I have ever shot in 60 years.
