70D, great video and it's low light performance is better than people realize.
I currently uses Nikon's, D300 since it came out, and a P7800 because of size. Have a number of Nikon lenses. However in your case I would buy another Canon because of the lenses. Over the years each company will bring out a model sightly improving the line then soon the other does. In the end no human eye can tell the difference in comperable models. I like Nikons but do not believe they are a better camera company. Lower and middle class digital cameras are on the wane. Canon will probably survive better than Nikon because of size and diversity of product..

Out of that list I'd go for the d7100.
I totally agree. The Nikon D7100 is a great camera.

Do not switch systems unless you plan to sell your Canon lenses and the external flash.
The T5i is not much of an improvement over the T4i. You might consider the latter. I use it extensively with very good results, as my walk-around camera, with the new Sigma 17-70mm lens on it. You could buy a used or a refurbished one, if available.
I read a rumor, too, that Canon will issue the next iteration in the Rebel series the first part of next year. I'll most likely go for it as a replacement of my T4i.
BTW: For landscape and shoots with models indoors, I rely on my Canon 6D with the new Sigma 24-105mm f/4 lens mounted on it, with superb results.

I am looking to upgrade. Currently have Canon T2i. Have extra lenses and external flash. Trying to decide on Canon T5i or Nikon D3300. Suggestions? Mostly use for concerts (indoor and outdoor) and kids. Also thoughts on Canon 70D or Nikon D7100.
Thanks, Jackie
We still do not have a budget to help guide us. The OP already has some unknown number of Canon lenses. So the budget sounds like somewhere between $700 (for just the t5i using existing lenses) to $1,000 (for a D3300 and a couple lenses.) I think this makes the logical upgrade comparison more like a 70D or 6D @ $1,000 vs. the D3300 plus lenses @ $1,000.
But the OP seems to have left the building.
I went with the Nikon D5300
Great choice. You'll love it
