Although I see its not needed here, I also have nothing but praise for B&H. Have been dealing with them for many years. Given my location, I know that if I order something by mid afternoon, I will have it the next day. Any issues, which are rare, they handle immediately and always make me glad I dealt with them in the first place! I consider their store the largest toy supermarket in the world and always visit when in NYC. (Toy is used as they carry MUCH more than cameras and lenses!) I know when I deal with B&H that I will get a new product, in a never opened box with a USA warranty, unless I specifically order something else.

Absolutely "DITTO" for me!..Most recently their main competitor had a "sale" on a tripod which I had just received from B&H..With a phone call from me, they not only met their competitor's pricing, but beat them by $10 USD, and credited me back..B&H ROCKS!..But please understand, that I ALSO do business with their competitor, and have nothing bad to say about them as well.

Praise is good so don't hold back :). Quite frankly we need and indeed want to hear from customers if they encounter a problem before, during or after a transaction because it helps us identify what needs to be addressed in our moment to moment ongoing quest to making the shopping experience at B&H as pleasant and pain free as possible.
Thanks again for your kind words and patronage.

They're terrific! I'll be there the weekend before Christmas and will plan to take the tour.
Please let me know well ahead of time if and when you'd like to come by. Ideal for me is any Mon-Thurs. If need be I can squeeze in a Friday morning bearing in mind that we close at 1:p.m.(sharp) on Fridays and it does take about an hour.
We do not have an official tour here at B&H, it's just that I have a soft spot for the folks here:).

I've had nothing but great experiences with B&H. They are a company in business to make money and they honor their customers. I'll be there next week and I'm looking forward to it.
Hope I get to meet you when you come by!

Only UHH'rs get the tour invite from me (Mon-Thurs) so consider yourself invited. A GAS attack at B&H Photo can have significant side effects especially when accompanied by a spouse. Severe Collateral Damage :).

Hershel, I have on order (pre-order) a Canon 100-400 f4.5-5.6L Mkii from B+H. The Collateral Damage has not yet happened since my wife doesn't know about it yet. However, I'm sure it'll cost me a trip to either Bergdorf's or Christian Louboutin on Madison Ave., or (hopefully not) both! :-)
I will definitely let you know when I'm in your vicinity next time!

Oy Vey! Try to convince her to go to Macy's as it's convenient and only 2 blocks away. If all should fail, pray for a blizzard.

Hershel,
Surely you know some people in the nearby garment district who could show her an interesting time.
B&H... Must stand for "Best merchandise & Honestly great service". Never have I had a bad experience with them.

 I figured it wasn't a real "tour" but am looking forward to visiting the store. If you can show me around, that will be a bonus!

It is indeed a real tour the least of which is the store.

Open invite to all members here. Just need enough notice to rearrange my schedule. Even if you've been to the store it's an eye opener.

While I'm very new to digital photography, I've recently purchased a set of Vello extension tubes to use with the kit lens that came with my Nikon 3100. Based on comments from this blog, I went with B&H. Excellent service & price! For the same cost as a Nikon 40mm micro from our local camera store, I was able to get the tube set, plus three wraps, plus the shipping was free since it was over a certain amount, plus I opted for them to pay customs to Canada & I still had change left over!!!! B&H definitely have a new customer & I hope to be able to spread the word. Thanks B&H! You guys & gals rock!!!
