I swear I wasn't stuttering when I first got up this morning. That's what uhh is beginning to do to me. I think it's time for a break, a long one maybe.

I have 4 canon L Lenses which I use with the Metabones adapters, the Canon 5D mk2 sits unused for the last 9 months now. I bought the Sony a7 and the 6000 this yearand love them. the size and the picture quality etc etc etc blah blah blah
buy your used 6000 and you will be very happy with it
Hi, I have the same set up --5D-11 and L series lenses.I'd like to get a A-6000, especially as they have become so cheap now, but do you get the quality you'd like using the Canon glass? Thanks for any input--D.
ayes the quality of the glass is carried forward to the sensor capability. A lot of people are using the older Leica lenses on these cameras. The a6ooo is a crop lens not full frame and your older L glass wont work on auto focus. The ability to peep at your pixels for focus makes manual focusing very easy.
That A6000 is worth 2X the price of a new one. It is a Amazing camera.
Would the a6000 be "great" for sports shots?

It has blistering fast auto focus, you bet it would.

Does anybody have any experience with sony A6000 cameras? I found one used and would like to know if it's worth buying.
I bought one new about 3-4 months ago and I love it. There are things I would change, but not much. Great pictures. My ex-wife just returned from Japan today and brought me an 18-200 lens for it which I'm anxious to put to the test. This does mean I have an almost brand new 55mm-210mm to sell at a bargain.
I'm planning to take this guy with me to Europe next summer. One month of bumming around and then 2 weeks on a Med cruise.
To be honest, I rarely carry my Nikon DSLR around with me anymore. (I still use it on formal shoots, mostly because of the twin SDcard slots.)
If you buy this, also purchase David Busch's Sony Alpha 6000/ILCE-6000 Guide to Digital Photography. The Sony manual which you can download from the website is awful. Busch's books are worth the $24. There are many features you'll never discover without Busch's help.

Well I just bought my Sony A6000 from best Buy as an open box for $454.99 plus tax. So how much are you asking for the Sony 55-210mm? I'm charging the battery now.

Watch the vedio at the top of this page about auto focus. The one from gessman.
