The following is a collection of things I thought might be of some interest to folks on the forum.

The first is a shot of what may have been the original house on the ranch property before it was subdivided and turned into a beach community. We've watched it slowly decline in the 30+ years we've vacationed here.

As always, feel free to offer suggestions.

Beautiful presentation of my favorite county, I really love the first shot, great composition and colors. The second shot is a His and Hers you know what.

Thanks so much Mike. I really appreciate your observations.

Are you familiar with Irish Beach? We've been renting houses there for over 30 years. The first shot is of the original farm house which was occupied when we first started going to this area. It has been replaced by a smaller, ranch style.

No I am not, if I still can make it one more time I have to check it out. I have a friend who has a place at Sea Ranch, I am not impressed by it any more, I liked it much better when it was all open not so many trees. My wife has friends in Fort Bragg, it's just such a pain in the neck to get there with that winding road.

Yes, the road is torture - especially from Cloverdale to Booneville. Once you get to Booneville, it's not so bad on the stretch of road south of the Navarro River except for a couple of hairpin turns around Elk. Most of the drive from there is inland enough so you're not looking over the edge of the cliffs.
