The following is a collection of things I thought might be of some interest to folks on the forum.
The first is a shot of what may have been the original house on the ranch property before it was subdivided and turned into a beach community. We've watched it slowly decline in the 30+ years we've vacationed here.
As always, feel free to offer suggestions.

It is such a shame when you see houses going to ruin, I bet it was really nice in it's earlier days.
Now get your paint brushes out Vicki and spruce up the second one!
Good set, nice composition with the trees and clouds in the sunset. Enjoyed all of them. :D
What a nice series Vicki!
I'm going back to pick up the previous instalments since I was out of the loop for a couple weeks.

No guess needed on your second photo, Vicki.
This is a necessity of backwoods living.

I'm fascinated by old "relics" of any sort. Often I see them in places where it's not safe to step out of the car to get a shot. This was a nice opportunity with no one around and a little good light for a change. Thanks for looking Susan.

I seem to recall a time when this was still in use. A new house has been built fairly close to this, and I was almost afraid it would be in the picture.
I wonder whether they'd like some sunflowers on the walls of the second. :-D
Glad you enjoyed these my friend.

Thanks so much Pierre. The only installment I won't post is one with hundreds of shots of grandchildren. :-D

This is the first one I've seen with two doors. I've seen (and used) a couple of two-seaters. One even had a view of the ocean through the top half of a single screen door!
Thanks for looking and commenting Kingmapix.
Very enjoyable, interesting series, Vicki!

Great set...I always wonder about the history of abandoned houses when I see them!!
Great set Vickie. I like the sad looking 'haunted house'. Do you think the second one with 2 doors is also haunted?
