I am uploading two photos I took recently.
One is the original , as is from camera. The other is processed with PSE-12 Than reprocessed in .jpeg with PSE 12. Then saved the photo in jpeg.
I always I always work on a copy so my aw files are intact.
Please C&C , Dont hold back. Tell it as it is.
The whole process was to remove the haze to produce a pleasing or
" WOW " photograph. This is my first challenge that I gave myself with
PP a photograph to remove the haze. By the way I have taken several shots of the sunset. It was a fantastic sight as I rounded the mountain
I hit the brakes and took the shot in program mode.

Nikon D7000
f/8
1/50 sec
ISO-125
105 mm Lense

I hope this information helps.
Besides your critique, I would be honored if UHH's
would PP this photo and see what can be done to it.
I only have PSE however many of you use Photoshop/light room
Have fun after you chew me out for ruining a great photo. ( LOL )

Hello Hobbycam, I too am in CA - actually north-central-eastern CA - LOL on Hwy 88 15 mi east of Jackson.
I like your work - BUT - I also like to be able to edit my photos such as taking out those 2 jet streams and eliminating what I think was "lens flares" in the top right of the photo.
Keep posting and accept C&C with an open mind - some of us are not always right - we just have our own opinions.

hello, Harvey
It is always nice to meet a fellow UHH member that lives i Cal.
Have no worries :-) I have been a member since 9/12/2011 ad have seen some , lets sat interesting replies here. <G>
I want people to tear into my photos and give their un-biased, honest opinion, regardless of their character, :-). I know that is putting myself directly in the Bulls-eye. (LOL)
My name is Charlton and was born and transplanted in Cal over 30 years ago. Ilove it here and enjoy the many responses on UHH. I am a self taught photographer. My very first camera was given to me by my uncle. It was a Yashina "J" split view finder, and my father made a darkroom outside of the house and told me and shut up about gong to photo school.
So with that, a photo book ( I dont recall the name of the book ) I started my journey. I started to take photos in intermediate school till today. But only as a hobby. one of my fathers friends gave me his old 4x5 Graphlex camera as a graduation present and a Box of film and screw on bulbs for the flash for graduation. ( boy am I dating my-self ). I delved myself into the art with a passion. I updated my equiptment to Minolta"s after i came back from the service. I now have updated to Minolta and Sony SLR Camera's, always keeping it a hobby. I used to photograph B-Days and Graduation's and made enough to keep my hobby going. Did a lot of B&W Photos than. Sent my color to labs. I am now retired and want to learn from others as I believe that I can benefit from people that have more experiance than I. Well their you go, (LOL)
Feel free to tear into my photo and critique as you feel. You may also DL my work and PP to our hearts content so as to give me examples of what you perceive that needs improvement. So, no problems from me here :-)
I hope to see many more of your tips and opinions on the subject.

Thank you and Happy clicking.
Charlton aka hobbycam.
