I'm from Jersey but it's been awhile since I've been back there. Don't have any family there anymore. But I love the Jersey shore and, now living in the midwest, have an "ocean attack" every once in awhile and long to visit along the shore. We don't know what areas with beach and boardwalk restaurants are preferable to go to anymore for a few days visit. Can either of you offer any suggestions of the best places to visit?

It depend what you want. If you are looking for a nice family place, then I would suggest Ocean City or wildwood. If you are looking for a cozy, B&B type place with lots of shore and very good restaurants, then I would suggest Cape May. If you are looking for more adult type entertainment, with a beach and excellent restaurants, then I would suggest Atlantic City. I don't know when you were thinking of coming, but now is an excellent time for any of the places mentioned. No crowds, off season prices and great weather (today it is 80 here!) Best of luck!
