Beautiful shots. You've got a great set of photos and memories there. We had the same type of trees in the Yukon as in your pygmy forest. A type of Juniper. three inch diameter and over 150 years old. Incredibly slow growth up that high.

Your shots of Alaska are beautiful. I especially like the one of Tok cutoff with road and fall colors. It makes you wonder what's around that next curve.
Makes me think I went to Alaska a little too early - I went late Aug 20 And color was only starting to show in the south. Next time though I think I will drive and not do a cruise
