Great photos.
Thanks so much for taking time to post and photograph them.
Wish I could come out there and help the dear with the sore hoof.

Beautiful shots as always. Hope the young one heals okay, but Nature isn't very forgiving.

Very beautiful shots all, Marilyn! Sad about the crippled deer. One here broke a leg in a jump gone wrong apparently, and two orthopedic doctors repaired the leg and the deer recuperated nicely.

Ms. Suzie came in / ate grass/ drank to her hearts content and went and laid down in the bushes with her family.
an hour later a injured female ( last years fawn) came hobbling thru.
I sure hate to see that!
her right front hoof was in bad shape/ swollen/ toes spread apart and it looked like a foot ball. I hope she mends, because i could see she was in pain.

Great pictures Marilyn, It looks like their summer coats are almost gone. Out with the red and in with new winter coat, sure hope this doesn't mean a long colder winter. I hope the wounded doe is healed quickly as winter is soon upon us and it could be her demise.

Thank you Jim, I am so glad to hear about the deer getting the help it needed.
I wish the state of CO. was more diligent in watching over the wildlife.

Thanks Greg.
yes the winter coats are starting - i have a feeling they will need them sooner than later this year.
I pray the deer will heal as well and quickly.
Thanks for looking and commenting..

Beautiful pictures Mare so clear and sharp

This is what you do. Get the injured doe in your stable, call your farrier and tell him that Hev hurt her hoof. When he comes out and looks and sees a deer just tell him you lost your glasses and you thought you were looking at Hev! :)
