So is this blue? I didn't do a lot of post processing and I don't remember if I played with the WB. I did notice that some of the stars were blue and I had some purple CA around a couple of the stars.

Nice shot :D
Better be careful though - - before long you'll be buying an equatorial mount with a clock drive :D :D

Ohhhhh dear, I didn't even know there was an astrology section and yes, I will be hooked! I do shoot RAW so no biggie, but I just read the post by Algol for light polluted skies...I have work to do:))) That's awesome!

And while some photography DOES seem mystic - Astronomy is a bit different than Astrology :lol: :mrgreen:
Shooting RAW makes the issue of White Balance {mentioned by a previous poster (something about Tungsten balance)} irrelevant , since that only becomes a factor when the camera tries to interpret the sensor data when composing the compressed JPG image.
