I think maybe I am just sick and tired of what is going on in the country, and every time we, the old white coots, say anything bad about Obama, even when it is obviously warranted, as in the illegal, the GOA's words, not mine, trade of 5 terrorists for Bergdahl without the required 30 day notice, we are called racist.
Last week when Holder went to Ferguson for me it was the last straw. Why didn't he visit Salt Lake City last week when a black cop shot and killed an unarmed white man. Then add Sharpton and Jackson to the mix and you have true racism, and it is not us, it is them.
Here is the cause of the black problem. 73 percent of black children are born out of wedlock. There is no family unity. Black churches are run by Sharptons and Jackson's preaching racism.
For the past 30 years 50 percent if all gun homicides are black on black. Over 90 percent of black crime is black on black. Why doesn't Holder investigate that? Why hasn't Obama dwelled on that? Because it isn't politically correct. This administration has done nothing to improve the race situation in this country, they have made it worse by jumping into situations like Ferguson.
I will try not to be so negative but it is difficult.

You hit the nail on the head! This administration has done more to increase hate among race than any other. I went to school in the south in the fifties and never heard my parents say anything negative about the blacks. I went to school with them and never saw any problems. The inner cities are a breeding ground for hate, crime, violence and generations of families on social programs with no intent of leaving their free rides!
Adding to the problem is our borders!

It is unbelievable to me that the powers that be can allow our borders to be crossed with no penalty and declare them immigrants. A immigrant stands in line and waits his/her turn to be accepted into this country legally and obey our laws and understand our language. Does it need to be fix? YES, but let's do it by passing laws to correct it, not open our borders and then pass everyone else up and pretend they didn't break the law by an unlawful border crossing!

In today's world, you can no longer agree to disagree. Normal discussions are thrown out the door and name calling, etc. has taken over. What has America become? Are we nearing the end? America is in a very sad state of affairs with no end in sight. Hopefully, we can recover and come to our senses before it is too late.
My Mom and Dad were proud Democrats and when I registered to vote for the first time, I proudly declared I was a Democrat too, as they best fit my values as an American and Christian. Later on, I went the Independent route, as I was dissatisfied with what was going on with regards to the country in general. Then in '78 when we started our own business, I looked around and by '80 switched parties and declared I was a Republican. The parties have changed dramatically over the years and my parents would not recognize the Democratic party of today. Heck, John Kennedy would be declared a conservative today and not inline at all with the Democratic party.
So, in saying all of this, if the party you have declared yourself too, fits your beliefs and what you stand for, so be it. If not, maybe it's time to seek a change.

I would be happy too but a third party is virtually impossible to acquire under the system controlled by our disorientated two party system so may become a Independent this year as neither party shows any respect for our law or our constitution.
