The US has sent billions of dollars into Gaza. Not to support the Hamas, but that seems to be where it has gone. So the fault I find; if a man asked me for a dollar to get something to eat, I would give it to him.

True enough. But with the recent recent formation of an interim government uniting Hamas and the PA, Hamas is a recipient of those funds as well.
