Would you happen to have a side photo of that by chance?

Love this magic bus. Hope you don't mind, but I have an image for you. Can you tell me who drove this vehicle? Hint: Taken in a small village off the coast of lake Erie.

In this 1915 Dodge touring car, Archibold Frost, wife, Mary, and their six-months old son, made a getaway from Columbus, NM when Pancho Villa came across the Border and began shooting up the town. As the family was escaping, Villa's troops riddled the car with bullets, and Mr. Frost was shot twice. The fleeing family did make it safely to Deming about 30 miles away. Mary, an inexperienced driver, had to take the wheel several times. Frost carried one bullet in his body for the rest of his life. This old car may be seen at the visitor's center at Pancho Villa State Park, Columbus, NM.

Fame is the key. cleveland is the city, but the village is loaded w/ Rock-n-Roll. Yes, I guess I was pretty vague, but I fear the hints are now clear. Your imagery of autos is wonderful.

I dont know why I have them like this...perhaps because when i was scanning I did not yet know about UHH
here are two cars my dad owned
on the left was many moons ago..probably before me...my dad worked in Newark NJ. Its a cool pic because there are a bunch of cars on the road
on the right is a car I remember well...1969 442. My dad bought that one brand new and I remember us kids sitting on the back of it with the top down...no seat belts back then
...i got me some air in that one after I got it sometime late 70s

Neat photos. Love the 442. You must have been the envy of the neighborhood. Is that your Mom? I think the one on the left is a 1954 Chevy.

Here are a few to start with and I will put up 3 more a little later. Enjoy.
Thank you. Love the tan pickup. There's one similar in our town, but it's not as nice as yours.

Thanks for the nice comment. I unfortunately don't own the truck but a member of the car club my relatives are on does so I get to see it often in the summer. Here are a few more photos from the shows that I was at this past year.

Thats kinda funny huh? all those bright shiny old cars. I believe I might have had a few rides in that old thing. As the story goes it was a hand me down from a grandmother and whatever color it was originally had faded so badly us three kids named it the PINK PIG. Im pretty sure I remember, me laying on top of my sister who was laying on top of my brother who was laying on that shelf behind the back seat...and my dad would come to a stop and we would all roll off onto the seat laughing our heads off. We said heads back then.

You are correct...the women standing next to the yellow car is my mom...she used to zip around in that car too. We called her rocket rita..and sometimes I still call her rocket and we get a good giggle out of that. Im still cruising around in a ragtop.

I would have to dig into my husbands archives to get you some real dirty farm oldies...but I have a feeling you prefer the shiny stuff and well thats all i got.

OK, so I did have the right car after all. I think your Mom must have been a tall "looker." Thanks for the post.

Well here's a wild guess: Town could be Old Brooklyn or Parma. Car owner might be Drew Carey, who comes back home often.

Sorry, didn't mean to be misleading. The village is not really a village. It's the rock-n-roll Hall of Fame. The car used to be owned by Janis Joplin.=Citation]
