Photo taken by me in a small village in Alaska. The old bus brought back memories of traveling with my baseball team.

Let's fix that up and go cross country.
If you've got the money, we could do it. The tires alone would probably cost a few grand. Wouldn't it make a great RV? Who would look at a Prevost next to it?

Today I have the bucks, but with our economy in such flux, in an hour I might not. So we gotta move fast. :)
Actually, I think things will be better this year. There are all kinds of signs in Texas restaurants advertising "help wanted."
When restaurants are thriving it means that people have "fun money." Invest now! By next Dec. you'll be glad you did. A lot of people currently out of work could be employed if they get over their pride and take a lower position than the one they lost.

except its kinda hard to go from $29.00hr at the chevy plant to $5.95 or whatever minimum wage is bagging groceries at walmart. impossible to pay your bills on the little the service industry wants to pay, not to mention the fact that places like sears kmart and dillards can treat their employees like dung and get a way with it, because the workers are too timid to organize. Perhaps if people bought american cars it would help considerably with the employment problem.
You have a valid point. My truck was made in San Antonio, my state.

I'll remember that today as I go downtown Fort Worth the Annual Livestock Parade. Hoping to get some good pics.
This old Hudson front end was shot at the Hudson Museum in Shipshewana, IN. My photo has won one blue and one red ribbon in two different RV rally photo (B & W) competitions .
Found this one by an old barn in New Mexico.

Hi Jennifer, Your right, In Daytona, restaurant folk, hotel maids and the like all get $3.25 an hour and if you dont like it. theres someone waiting to take your place. In America its amzing to me that full time workers qualify for food stamps! And the big emplyers get richer and richer! I am all for the big money but not at the expense of the downtrodden.
