No, it was actually written by a person and when I replied I pointed out that "to forward back" doesn't exist in the English language.
I believe it has actually become part of the current syntax. "To forward" an email means to send an email that you have received to another recipient. To forward it back, has nothing to do with gay sex as Wellheim would suggest, but simply bouncing an email back to its sender.
It's a contraction of "somebody is".
Also, "somebodies" doesn't exist either. The only way for that makes sense is to write it as two words: "some bodies"

Does the apostrophe not make the "somebody" possessive?
or maybe it is a contraction. Haven't checked Websters.
Who cares?
In this context "somebody's" is a contraction of "somebody is."
To read it as a possessive would be incorrect.
As to "who cares?", apparently you do. You commented "there's just no excuse." In this context that conveys to me an expectation of a greater knowledge of english and its use than is expected from someone in another profession or vocation.
However, my reply to your first post was not intended to attack you. It was merely meant to point out that most of us do make mistakes. I thought it ironic that you, commenting on mistakes, made one yourself.
Or, to quote Army Regulations ( don't know if his still exists ), " beds will be made up as laid down in standing orders ".

When did I ever link email of any type to gay sex?

You didn't say it but you were thinking it.

Some bodies, would be a noun, refering to an unspecified amount of bodies. Somebody's would be an advective meaning belonging to some body. But yes I would agree, that the way you've spelt somebodies, does not exist. But we are bordering on the pedantic.

Thank you for explaining to me what I was thinking. I repeat the question. When have I ever liked email to gay sex?

I despair at times. Today I received an e-mail from an insurance company asking me to fill in a form and "forward it back". Forward it back!? I could forward it or I could send it back but "forward it back"? I loath how some people manage to mangle the English language.
You might be
loath to forward it back, but you
loathe how some people (including yourself) manage to mangle the English language. :D :D

Yes you are correct, but that is a shortening of somebody is.

I think he was tripping on our exchange about the quote of advancing to the rear, when you said something about going to the wrong bars. I could be very wrong, can't say what is going through some one else's mind. Its just the only correlation I could see on this thread. I would not worry too much about it anyway!
There's just been a fine example on TV during the weather forecast. "There's plenty of sushine, out in the sunshine".

I did realise what he was refering to. But that comment didn't refer to email.
