Of course Photoshop creats global warming, look at these two photos. One shows the cover of one of Al Gores book a few years ago, that's the one that shows the hurricanes. Notice that two of the three rotate in a different direction than the other one. Hurricanes hardly ever form south of Panama but this photo shows one. There is no ice in the arctic circle.
Look at the original photo that was dug up by a meterologist, no hurricanes and the arctic circle has plenty of ice.
Enlarge both of these photos and you will see that they are the same satellite photo, one doctored up. You ask, could it be that the one that I'm calling the original is the doctored up one? No, the cover of Gores book is the doctored one because hurricanes only rotate in one direction and this shows one of the three rotating in different directions, the photoshop artist apparently didn't know this.
Sorry the top one is upside down.
Hurricanes (Northern Hemisphere) rotate counter-clockwise. Cyclones (Southern Hemisphere) rotate clockwise. Same force but different names due to rotation.
The one in the photo appears to be just north of the equator, it's hard to tell.

I think this picture is really cool. Could anyone tell me how it was done? Is it a long exposure or photshop?
Now I've seen everything...a flock of planes...wonder what spooked them?

Definitely photoshop. The FAA would s@^* a brick if this kind of air traffic really existed at any airport.

I wonder what the correct term would be (a group of crows is called a murder of crows) - a wing of planes, a flight of..., soaring of..., roaring of..., Wright of...

That's just the typical Monday morning traffic pattern at DFW, business commuters you know!

I've been through O'Hare. They're lucky to get one plane off the ground in an hour.
Thanks! This will be fun. :O)

Naw, it's just a normal day at O'hare. You should see it when it really gets busy.

Here's one I did of myself, but it took a while to put it all together and get me on top of myself. Also working out where my glass should be and then where the bottle should be held etc.

Nice composite...lots of layers I'm sure.

That would take several days to take that many pictures of takeoffs at BHM. Attached is a panorama I took. It is about 40 images plus 11 of the SouthWest jet taking off.
Don't forget it is now called Shuttlesworth International Airport

Lucian, Great work. I have to do one like this. The method I've seen is layers and erase mode and a good tripod.
This looks like too much fun to pass up.
