Dig deeper, liberal. Quote a dead president to try to throw the subject off your incompetent, narcissistic, corrupt leader, whom you and Democrats everywhere follow blindly, no matter what.

On the subject of quotes, these are far more current, and NOT slips of the tongue, which Reagan made:

"I've been to like 57 states, two more to go." - Barack Obama

"Corpse man." - Barack Obama

"We're going to take from those who have and give to those who do not." - Barack Obama

"The cost of electricity will necessarily skyrocket." - Barack Obama

He also reasserted the United (sic) Nations idiocy of cutting back on our energy usage by 80%, even as he ramps up his fundraisers across the nation, and the world burns, Israel suffers daily rocket attacks from Hamas, which of course receives American dollars.

Sick. Truly sick, Democrats.

 If you like your medical plan, you can keep it, period.

I will reduce the deficit by 50% in my first term.

There is not one smidgen of evidence that the IRS targeted conservatives.

The Benghazi attack was caused by an anti Muslim video.

WHAT!!! Do you mean these statements aren't true?

I thought Fast and Furious and the VA scandal were the only problems with the Obama administration. Well of course there is Solyndra and more of that same type. You mean there is MORE? OMG.

My God man, your obvious hatred for someone you didn't agree with politically of is blatantly obvious. If need be, I can go back and pull some truly ignorant statements made by your pathetic "dear leader" obama, which I don't think you even want to go to, as there are indeed many, prevalent and truly intentional and stupid! Troll on with your absurd hatred....

Very good and you can be sure you will receive some republicans here that won't believe it. No matter how much proof you show them they just won't except it. They live in a world all there own and you can be sure there will be some comments on this....Rich

I'm one such Republican who won't settle for the opinions of Politus, the "real liberal politics" site; as they advertise themselves to be.

Also, please note the date of the article and the travels addressed.

What numbers? I just told you ho many trips the Bush family made. Anyone can look that up.

It is interesting that when Bush left office the 'General Accounting Office' lost the records of how much the Bush's trips cost the United States taxpayers.

Travel, Secrete Service etc., costs are not much different than now. You will probably come close if you take the approx.$42 million dollars the Obama trip cost and multiply it by 5. 5 x $42 million = $210 million

Air Force One Boondoggle
The government has quietly released revised estimates of the cost per hour for flying Air Force One with its crew, but the estimates still don't include all contingent aircraft and personnel. The new estimated cost is $228,280 per flight, which means that Obama has spent a staggering $456 million flying Air Force One -- mostly to political fundraising and vacation junkets. And Obama has racked up more flight hours for his time in office than any previous president. In fact, his trip to New York marked his 1,000th flight on Air Force One. Obama's lavish ways are incredibly hypocritical after his incessant condemnation of business executives for using corporate jets. Do as he says, not as he does.

Exactly so, Nimbus.

Those Democrat toadies can't fool you or me or any of scores of sensible people reading these boards.

too bad the repubs voted to cut spending on defenses of our embassies...

could have avoided the whole mess

Actually, as I understand it, the last allocation for the State Dept's Embassy security was INCREASED, not reduced.

There were cuts. But the cuts were to the dollar amount requested. Such "cuts" are rather common as a Congress does not regularly fund the full amount of an administration's request. The amount appropriated (that Congress approved) was an increase over the previous FY, but not to the level/amount the administration sought in its current FY budget request.

So that explains why Ambassador Stevens request two weeks prior to the attack were denied. Ok......
