Never had an issue but they are lithium batteries and so if you ask someone with a third grade education at least some of them will cause you to leave them behind. I'm pretty sure the regs prohibit lithium batteries, at least since the fire scares.

Italy, France, England, BVI, Hawaii, throughout the US. Always carry ALL my gear in a camera bag or carry on. Never had a problem or question about gear or batteries that I carried. Have fun!.

Whoa! you can carry lithium camera batteries as long as the contacts are protected. I just went to Atlanta, Tokyo, , Hong Kong, Changsha and the only time my camera bag was opened was to inspect the jewelers screwdrivers.. They just looked at the Lithium's and nothing said, hey use some common sense.

Make sure each battery has a cap on it or put some electrical tape over the contacts.

A few decades ago it was common for the security checkers to require that laptops be powered on -- to assure that they were computers.

never had any issues, usually take quite a few with me(all stacked in several battery caddies).
