What an impressive set of pictures Linda, and you managed to get a catchlight in the eye of one of the eaglets. Fantastic! (and your camera's nit bad either. lol)
LOL - I can barely see the birds when I'm shooting, so to know there are catchlights is quite the bonus :) Thanks so much!
Very very nice Linda! They are all great but I love #1 and 2. Isn't Three babies in a nest is rare for eagles? Terri
Thanks so much! Yes, 3 is uncommon. Even with two, sometimes the larger sibling will kill the other. And today I found a hawk nest with three! But they have a lot more room to wander as the nest is on a walkway of a water tower :)
Thanks for keeping us updated on the eagles Linda. It's been so fascinating to watch from the beginning. Your pictures make us feel like we're witnessing something spectacular. And your shots are spectacular. Those 3 eaglets look like they're getting ready 'to jump ship' though.
Canon SX50 burst mode. Edits in PSE 12, Topaz Simplify and Topaz Detail. Cropped.
Thanks for viewing!
Appreciate your sharing of your great photos. I bet you never get tired of shooting them. How much longer till they start to fly? Will they stick around the nest after learning--or fly the coop?
Mahalo for sharing. Beautiful pictures of a majestic family. I enjoy your photos and appreciate you keeping us informed of this family's growth. How did you find the nest especially being so far from the road?
