Oreo's starting to want in on the action! He's bored with the sedentary lives us old folks live! I'd better keep an eye on him!
Excellent photo, Randy! :)

As usual I'm late for the party, and I can't believe I almost missed this! Randy, this one gets my vote as the very best yet, and that's saying quite a lot. Everything about this portrait is perfect. It looks like maybe you used a texture on the background? Bumpy and the gang need to be reminded what a talented dad they have! :-D

Bumpy is very depressed, having been voted out as Grand Panjandrum of the Kitty Council. Martian blamed him for the recent fiasco involving the Council's decision to banish me, and introduced a motion for impeachment.

The motion carried.

Bumpy's out, but there's a lot of infighting among the Council as to whom they should pick as their new leader. Martian's running on his usual campaign promise of silver or lead, but according to an inside source at Fox News, the voters aren't moved, and Bauble has this one in the bag.

These Banana Republic power struggles are always underhand affairs,----- Do you think there will be a counter challenge? and if so which group is better armed?

Thank you, Sue. The political upheaval here may cause ripples far beyond our own household, and you're wise to watch Oreo closely.

Thanks for looking, always appreciated!

Thank you for the very kind words, Donna. Bumpy was caught in mid roll on this one, lol. Made an appealing pose. The glass tabletop closely matched the color of one of my texture jpegs, and they blended nicely.

As for reminding the gang here about anything, the only thing they care about is my ability to open the cat food cans on time, lol.

Thanks for looking, always very much appreciated!

Armaments are pretty evenly distributed among the voting Council members, but the will to fight varies. Martian leads the pack in that, and it's depressing to think he may take over the Kitty Council. His first step would be to eliminate any opposition, then he'd be free to annex Czechoslovakia and invade Poland.

Thanks for looking Geoff, always appreciated. I'd keep an eye and ear to the media, listen for any sudden pacts Martian might make with Russia. ; )

The Council made the right decision. Besides the fiasco, Bumpy looks to comfortable in this position. I suspect he spent a lot of time laying down on the job.
I really like this one Randy - how did you get the reflection?

Sorry to be late with this - wondering if my Fluffy Buffy might be a "kissing cousin" to your Bumpy. He's a big fellow (12+#) but kinda laid back. He found our yard and his forever home back in 2008 just after Hurricane Ike sideswiped our area. He was a bit worse from the wear and tear he suffered during the storm but he recovered.

Thanks, Ray. Glad you liked it. Bumpy is certainly something of a layabout, but I think he took his job as Grand Panjandrum quite seriously.

And speaking of serious, lol, I caught him in mid roll in this. He was on a glass table top, rolling from side to side, and thus the reflection showed in the glass surface. The background was a water-colored texture that matched the color of the glass almost perfectly.

Thanks for looking, always very much appreciated!

Not late at all. Your handsome kitty sure looks like a Ragdoll to me. His coat resembles Martian's a bit more than Bumpy's, but the flamepoint coloring and blue eyes are exactly the same.

They are great cats, usually quite large (Bumpy and Martian are both a touch over sixteen pounds) and usually marshmallows.

Thanks for looking!
