Bangee, I would never speculate on who (or whom) is going to hell. Way out of my realm to do so. Bangee, it is difficult to think that you like me, but if I win the Lottery, I shall send you a few shekels.

James, as usual you mis-understood me. Pray that I win the lottery, not you. Of course I will send a few bucks your way, just to show that I like you. 8-)

Bangee, the estimated number of people that have lived since Adam & Eve sinned against god in the Garden of Eatin' (I'm sure you are familiar with the story: god was lonely so he created man, named him Adam and then created Eve out of Adam's rib. Why he needed Adams' rib to create Eve I could never understand because he had just created the entire Universe from nothing but that's another story) is 107,602,707,791.

You think he really cares about you? Do you suffer from Illusions of Grandeur or maybe you are vertically challenged and suffer from short persons syndrome. How many souls does god need? I wish he would come and get the Rapture over with, I'm bored and getting impatient.

Pepper, you've said it all in a short sentence or two. Right you are. Don't you think there are some who thoroughly enjoy this 'bantering' and are possibly trying to set a new record on this site with the most pages devoted to a topic? I think what it boils down to is those who 'say' they don't believe, possibly don't, or maybe they're just playing the devil's advocate. I've been reasonably quiet during this entire discussion, but for one who does believe in Jesus as his Savior and accepts the Bible as the Word of God, I would be less than prudent not to express my belief. I'm a Christian and through the grace of God and the Sacrifice of Jesus for my salvation, I praise the Good Lord. I heard it said once during a discussion,
"Boy, won't you Christians be surprised to find out when it's all over, that there is no heaven or hell?"
I thought about it a while, then was led to say, "Well, I think it will come as a bigger surprise to those who don't believe, but find there IS a heaven or Hell!"
I'll pray for those who need the help of the Lord to 'see' the truth. That's my option, even if they don't ask for it. OK, I'm done, and I guess I've added part of a page to this discussion, even though I didn't intend to :)

Your statement that follows does not make sense to me:

"Boy, won't you Christians be surprised to find out when it's all over, that there is no heaven or hell?"

It seems to me, if there is no heaven or hell, then when its all over you won't know if there is a heaven or hell.

Thank you for your prayers, nevertheless, and I appreciate your post. And thank you for being a good but quiet listener. Happy Easter!!

Really Ray, after all of those saved souls God still wants yours. Do you not know that you are not your own that God has brought you with a price?

Don't you suppose that those attending this site with great frequency love to be battered and to batter back? We are just human.

Does God or His Spirit occupy physical space?

When God created the "heavens and earth" did the "heavens" part-of "heavens-and-earth" include the heaven that we go to after death? Or did the heaven that we go after death exist before the creation of the "heavens and earth" and before the creation of man according to Genesis?

Where is heaven? Jesus arose 3 days after death, but did he actually go "up" into the "heavens" or is that just a figure of speech, or is it known? Those in my wife's church (Lutheran) stand and raise their hands and arms and turn their faces toward the ceiling on Easter Sunday and proclaim "he is risen; he is risen indeed."

Where does God reside. Is God-Heaven a duality or is God-Heaven a single inseparable thing? Where was God before he created the heavens and earth (universe)? Was God in a separate universe before he created our universe? If so, then is it reasonable to assume that there are at least two universes, today? That would fit the parallel-universe theory.

Many questions I know. Your response to any one or all is appreciated. I am curious. Happy Easter. Thanks.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has unique views not held by the majority.
We believe we lived with God and Jesus as spirits before coming to the earth. We came to earth to get a body and get tested.
After death our spirit goes back to paradise or prison depending on what we did with what we knew. Great knowledge means greater responsibility. Those that never knew about God will be judged on what they would have done.
We believe that God the Father has a body Genesis 1:27-28, and Acts 7:54-60.
When Jesus resurrected he kept his immortal body, like his Father. After resurrection the body and spirit are immortal and inseparable.
The Holy Ghost is a spirit or he could not dwell in us.
All of God's children, save the sons of perdition, will receive some type of Glory (Celestial, Terrestrial, Telestial)after the final judgement.
I Corinthians 15:41-58
We also believe that the atonement of Christ saves little children who die before the age of accountability or are not capable of sin (i.e. mentally challenged persons), as well as those who knew him not.
We also believe in a living prophet and apostles as dictated by the scriptures. Amos 3:7, Ephesians 2:19-22.
So there are some answers. I'm sure a few will harshly criticize this, but that's OK, we are used to it. Just like many prophets and early Christians were called crazy and persecuted by the Jewish and other communities.
I respect others beliefs and do not criticize them.
Happy and blessed Easter to all.

Now, now, Mask-man you just put down that earthly-throw-stones of death. Have you not sinned? Perhaps you have a Satin complex? Suggest you quit spending so much time in your back yard garden playing with your pet serpents.

Well, Joseph Smith was an inspiration to L. Ron Hubbard and Smith was inspired by every other charlatan who started a "religion" from Paul to Mohammed.
