Thanks, Henry. Lovely architecture, and what could truly be St. Paul without snow.

this is the state Capitol Building of Annapolis Md., taken during the first of three consecutive 27+ inch snow storms that hit the east coast in 2009-2010. Was great Jeep weather!!!!!!!!!!!!
Gorgeous wintry street scene. Wish we could see a bit more of the capitol, but it must have been a fun night of shooting in snow.

State capitol buildings are great examples of architecture that will never be seen again. Help me collect a photo of each state capitol. Even if your state has been posted, if your shot angle is different, post it. These wonderful, well-lighted buildings create unique opportunities for night shots when the traffic has cleared and there are no tourists in the way.

I'm in! My state capitol is about 3 hours away from where I live, but this sounds like a wonderful photo project. I live in Michigan and have not seen that one posted yet, so hopefully I can add that one in the near future. What a great idea!

Thank you, and am eager to see Lansing posted. Hope the town is back in business after Olds collapsed.

Thanks Woody. If that's you (AVATAR), you could beat Perry in the next governor's election.

This is Hawaii, the only capitol without a roof. But in that state they really don't need one. Nothing like a sky dome.
