Many of us try some different things from time to time just to see how software works and what can be done. I am no different. I am posting the original and my variation in which I tried some different things and some new tools that I had not used before. I wanted to make the image look artsy and almost overcooked, but not to the point of ruining the image totally. All the post-processing including a new background was accomplished in Paintshop Pro X6 Ultimate and X5 Ultimate using layers and with the help of a couple of NIK Efex Pro 3 plug-in filters and a couple of Redfield plug-in filters. I am confident that I met my goal but, I am not sure what others think. Comments, good or bad, (I can take the heat) and constructive criticism are welcome. This will also show some who are wondering about Paintshop Pro Ultimate what some of the software capabilities are. Have a GREAT DAY!
I think you did a terrific job :)
Mostly good, EXCEPT the shadows in the background are going the opposite direction of the tractor shadows. Common oversight. You could try a horizontal flip on the background image.

Thanks Oddjobber, learned a valuable lesson in composite photography with that.
pixbyjnjphotos, your masking job is spot on! Which software did you use to extract the tractor?
I think you did great work there, and accomplished your goal. Your result is more interesting to me than the original photo.
I like it. Good job.

Paintshop Pro X5 Ultimate. I have upgraded to X6 Ultimate, but when I opened the new background picture it came up in X5 so I just used X5 because some of my plug-ins are 32 bit and won't work in X6 64 bit. Thanks for looking and your kind comment. Have a GREAT DAY!

Good catch. I looked for shadows and didn't see the shadows on the mountains were going the opposite direction. I was a little tired when I finished. Thanks for the comment and I will try to be a little more observant next time. Have a GREAT DAY!

Good job on the PP, I bet you spent some time on this photo. In MHO I have a feeling the contrast is a bit strong.

Here is the image with the background horizontally flipped. Should take care of the shadow issue.
