Yes! Not really obvious in this case (your first try), but something just doesn't "feel right" to my eyes if the lighting is contradictory.

Many of us try some different things from time to time just to see how software works and what can be done. I am no different. I am posting the original and my variation in which I tried some different things and some new tools that I had not used before. I wanted to make the image look artsy and almost overcooked, but not to the point of ruining the image totally. All the post-processing including a new background was accomplished in Paintshop Pro X6 Ultimate and X5 Ultimate using layers and with the help of a couple of NIK Efex Pro 3 plug-in filters and a couple of Redfield plug-in filters. I am confident that I met my goal but, I am not sure what others think. Comments, good or bad, (I can take the heat) and constructive criticism are welcome. This will also show some who are wondering about Paintshop Pro Ultimate what some of the software capabilities are. Have a GREAT DAY!

Wondering if it's too 'clean' for a dirty old tractor?

Very nicely done!! A little 'heavy' on the HDR for my personal preference, but the composite and choice of setting are excellent.

Thanks for looking and the comment. However, no HDR on this picture. Have a GREAT DAY!

Hope the memories are happy ones. I shot this photo at a tractor show in Apache Junction, AZ about a month ago. I have seen F20s and F30s but I believe this is the F14 I have seen. I have fun at the tractor shows and I make calendars out of the photos I take. Thanks for looking and the comment. By the way, your variation of the original photo is not too bad either. Have a GREAT DAY!

Thanks again for bringing the shadow issue to my attention. This is by far from my first time doing this. I always try to watch the shadows but it slipped right by me this time. This was the first time to make more use of the plug-ins and use some software tools I don't have much experience with. Have a GREAT DAY!

It was one of the Redfield plug-in filters I used that produced the HDR effect.
