Gary Fong's Cromedrome Lightsphere, is recommended for groups. Suggested use is:
ISO 800, TTL 580 or simular, F 4.0 @ 1/45 sec,, Tripod, Wide Angle 35mm equivalent,
Set to Manuel. WOW Going to get a lot of feed back on this. Enjoy

I use a 600EX-RT with an EF70-200mm f/2.8L to light and photograph a pond 125 feet from my deck. The unit has no trouble getting that deep, and it spans between 30-40 feet.
