You are, you know darn well that she has scheduled official stops so that the taxpayer picks up the tab.... and yes, I know that this has been done in the past and then just as now we borrow every penny spent on the trip with little intention of ever paying it back.
Yes, and we're borrowing it from China too.

Just wondering....does anybody know why we never pitched a bitch about other FLOTUSes traveling?
That VERY same question comes up in every conversation about the extravaganzas of the Obama's......
DO you KNOW that a Bitch wasn't pitched..>??????< I guarantee you that if they were as blatant and expensive and as unnecessary as Michelle's are.. THE wonderful Free Press would have had it on the front page of every paper in the USA....

Thank you for non researched BS. FLOTUSes commonly travel like she did but I really know why you don't research it.
If anyone still clings to some charitable notion that there is more to Michelle Obama than a celebrity wanna-be opportunist, let her 50thbirthday celebration be the proof that does away with any remaining delusions.
The FLOTUS birthday bash invitees included such moneyed stars as Gladys Knight, Jennifer Hudson, Mary J. Blige, Michael Jordan, Stevie Wonder, Samuel L. Jackson, Ashley Judd, and, of course, power couple Beyoncé and Jay-Z (the latter of whom sings a little ditty that says, among many other vile words itd be indecent to print here: Uh, she love different kinds of sex now, Uh, black girl sippin white wine, Put my fist in her like a civil rights sign).
And this is just the stuff we know about.
The event was so top secret, the NSA had to find out about it by reading Sasha and Malias text messages. No cell phones were permitted for the 500 people who attended, and those who disobeyed were told to check their devices at the door.
Michelles guest list of famous friends was the tip of the iceberg. The party was reportedly everything youd expect from a glamorous White House party: Glitzy and stocked with powerful celebrities and government officials. They danced until 3 a.m., at least, and drank champagne, wine, beer, and hard liquor. All of it. All at once.

When Laura Bush turned 60, she got a modest four paragraph mention inPeople magazine: Laura celebrated her 60th birthday on Saturday at the Bush familys ranch in Crawford, Tex., where the President gave her a triple-strand amber-colored necklace.
The Bushes spent the weekend at the ranch, and on Saturday hosted friends
for a dinner of enchiladas, tamales, guacamole, rice and beans and birthday cake.

Keeping our soldiers in Iraq is a lot cheaper, under $2200 a night.
According to the Congressional Research Service, it currently costs an average of $802,000 to keep one U.S. soldier in Iraq for one year. Who is paying for all this?
I would like to see how they arrive at that cost. I sure doubt if it cost anywhere close to that amount when I was in Vietnam and inflation can't be that high from then to now. When we weren't sleeping in our aircraft we had some rag-patched GP medium tents.

I haven't the slightest doubt that if the Obama's made a huge charitable donation then the right would have a s--t fit about it!

Wouldn't it be nice to see her take the girls to Africa and feed the starving, or work with the sick. Isn't it important to teach your kids to give back not just to see the world?

That's the type of thing they should be doing.

It's very right until they do it and then all hell breaks lose because what was right before is evil now, Kinda
like the Healthcare Plan and every other little or big thing.

Yep! You guys. Just like we all pay for our over spending politicians and their families. There will be a revolution and they will wonder why.

Hal,
The way those drunken sailors in Washington, DC are on a binge spending spree, I'm afraid it'll be our great grandchildren that "Might" get a handle on the debt.
