The Devil made me do it.

On my way home I was wondering how to get closer pics and not spend a ton of money and out of the blue popped up a camera store. I tried to keep the car on the road but the camera devil jumped off my shoulder took over the wheel and turned my car into their parking lot. The devil then forced me into the store and made me buy a 2X teleconverter the store wanted a $170.00 for a new one but I bought a used one for $60.00!! The devil on my shoulder was happy..........the devil at home wasn't!!
Question........How often does this happen to photo addicts and is there a twelve step cure for it?
Not sure about a 12 step program for, but confession is good. That will be 30 landscapes and 15 wildlife photos.
The cure is to get rid of the devil at home!

Oh no! The cure is to convert the devil at home. Or at least make sure she has an expensive hobby as well.
Buy your wife a camera and you can share a hobby take little weekend rides and take photos. Once the wife gets hooked the camera store will be your friend again. If you cant get the lady hooked get her an exorcist LOL
Is'nt photography a wonderful Rat Hole to throw $$$$ down. It can be a bottomless pit, but SSOOOOOO much fun.
I can't say I have a devil at home.
When I pick out a toy she checks it out and says ...
"You can do better than that" and gets me a better one.
Then she goes and gets herself one too.
tell her it was this... or a motorcycle... you were just thinking of her
Gee I put gas in the van and it cost me $60.00 I would rather have the 2x for the camera....
My husband bought a fishing boat. I told him it was wonderful I'm glad he did. I told him now I could get my camera. LOL I spent more on my camera than he did his boat, but what he doesn't know won't hurt him. Actually he is very good about me spending money.

Or at least limit what you tell it.
