How Perceptive Are You? Lossy vs. Non-Lossy
I have about 40,000 masterpiece pics I took from the early 2000's. When I look at them now I just cry because the quality is terrible.
I got 10 out of 10. That is a very neat test. I don't think i could have done that good had the pictures not been side by side. Even then it was tough on some pictures.
10 out of 10. I know my vision isn't that good, and the monitor is small..... so I mostly guessed.
If I had only been that good when I took the SAT all those years ago. Too late for that, but it's not too late to head to Vegas.
6 out of 10. In my defense us Bigfoot types can only see in black and white.
No! None of us guys would notice a thing like that. Why heck I didn't even notice the color of her hair.

By the way .... Did anyone notice that one of them in the test was topless ??

Just a thought. This article was from 2005, nearly 7 years old. I wonder if compression algorithms today are still the same.
I was 5 for 5 and then got cocky. Ended up w 7/10. Good test. Contrast and the white blowing out was what i noticed mostly.
I know that I'm a complete newbie to photography (means I mostly a consumer) but I was 0 for 4 then started guessing and just picking one I liked ended up 4 of 10.
I got 6 out of 10. I still am not going to shoot raw....just get a better camera or maybe take my husbands camera from him. He has the Sony a77 and it takes the most amazing photos in jpeg.
