I have the D-200 and D-7000 as well. Tried a few, and the Op-Tech won hands down. Most comfortable for me, and I like how it mounts to the actual camera lugs, not to the tripod screw.

I have a Cotton Carrier harness, which I like. I carry heavy pro cameras, and the harness transfers the weight from the neck to the shoulders and makes it much more comfortable. I add a Lowepro lens exchange bag and a water bottle carrier, and I'm in business for a day of outdoor shooting.

I am an active photographer at 78 and unable to walk thanks to a year of chemo, but I get around on a three wheel scooter or a four wheel walker and both have baskets for the two cameras I carry, a D80 with a 18 to 135 and when I am after birds, a D7000 with a 150 to 500 which is very heavy to hang on a strap.

The two camera harness looks great and I will buy one for use with my walker and a lighter lens.

When you get old you just have to accommodate to the disabilities.

I tried the OP/TECH Double Harness, shown above, but I returned it in favor of their Dual Sling. It's similar, but it doesn't have the strap across the chest. I carry a tele on the right and a W/A on the left.

I didn't see the dual sling, looks more comfortable for us ladies without the strap across the chest so I cancelled my Amazon order & ordered at BH.they shipped it already & it was a few dollars less so thanks Jerry for calling my attention to that!

After trying to save money with Chinese-knockoffs like the Optek and others - I have one question - has anyone had a mishap - particularly where the camera connects to the strap - and dropped a camera?

Uh, sorry Gene, but the Optech is a USA product! Oh, and never had a mishap with this setup and it hooks to the camera lugs, not the tripod holder recessed screw.
