Oh my goodness, what a wonderful variety of gorgeous images MtnMan. I really enjoy all of them, tell me though, in the second shot is that a small snake or a very large worm in his beak.

I thought it was a worm at first but it is a small snake. I had no clue when I took the shot...I thought it was swamp grass.

These are a few from a day cruising the St. Johns River in Florida with a friend who knows it well. It was a perfect day.

All taken with a Nikon D800 and Sigma 150-500mm lens, handheld, and processed Lightroom 5. These are reduced size jpegs as the originals are in RAW.

Beautiful captures all MtnMan, the St John's is one of my favorite rivers. :)

Good and interesting series. Would look even better if you checked the "store original" box so that we could download and get a better view of your photos. :-D

Not so much with the smaller size images needed to upload to UHH. My originals far exceed UHH limits.

But I did get these and a few more finally uploaded to Flicker so if interested (where you can zoom in):

BTW, if your DSL speed is like mine you have to wait a bit for the full size image to download. The initial image you see is very course.

I believe it is an immature bald Eagle. I don't know if they have goldens in the area.
