First Sighting of a Snowy Owl

Great shots Jan, Lucky you got them, My daughters holiday makers last year said they had see a small day time owl on her property. Despite looking I sadly have never seen it.

This year was expectional as far as the number of Snowy Owls that moved down into the US but there were "few" that actually saw these owls.

There should be an award for those that did see them!!!!

What a catch, Jan! Who cares about lighting or any other conditions when you capture a lifer. Well done, and what a beauty!!!

I know what you mean,being able to see and shoot them in the wild. I've seen them and shot them close up in a re-hab center.
