I couldn't get close enough to really photograph the Owl like I wanted and the lighting wasn't good...but I don't care...this was a lifer for me!

Wow Jan!!! Outstanding just to see one. And you got some great shots there to take home. I went looking this year, but no luck. But the time we found out there they were, they weren't.:):)

Good for you! I think these are great shots considering how far away you were.
I have never seen one in the wild. But hope to someday.
I don't think they come as far south as SC. At least I have not heard of any sightings down here.
