Too bad that you had to include that T party asshole comment.

I'm a wounded warrior. Cheney got two of my fellow fighters killed by lying to us about the mushroom clouds that were going to be caused my Saadam.

Big shot...did you serve ? Have your missed a meal or heard a shot fired in anger ?

I took one for the nation I love and save your idiot comments for your right-wing draft dodgers.

Well then, the only thing that comes to my mind is : Don't let the door slam too hard on your ass as you leave.............

You've provided some brilliant insight and advice. I'll try to remember it.

I can tolerate pet owners up to a point. If they express this kind of attitude, it's probably time to leave.

Good riddance!

1. They live here. You don't.

2. If you don't want their hair on your clothes, stay off the furniture.

3. I like my pet better than I like most people.

4. To you, it's an animal. To me, she is an adopted son/daughter who is short, hairy, walks on all fours and doesn't speak clearly.

5. Dogs and cats are better than kids. They eat less, don't ask for money all the time, are easier to train, usually come when called, never drive your car, don't hang out with drug-using friends, don't smoke or drink, don't worry about buying the latest fashions, don't wear your clothes, don't need a gazillion dollars for college, and if they get pregnant, you can sell the results.

If that comment was directed at me, you missed my point entirely. I like pets. I have a dog. She sheds on the furniture. She's handy to have around, particularly when one needs to avoid acknowledging ownership of a fart.

My comment about "it's probably time to leave" had to do with the pet owner's attitude toward the visitor, not with the pet.

Sarge,
Evidently I did miss the point....sorry. True story:
A couple we know had to deal with friends that would come over for dinner and them proceed to complain about our friends pets.

One evening when the meal was finished, our friends wife sat the dishes on the floor. Naturally, the dogs licked them clean. At this point, she picked up the dishes and placed them back in the cabinet! End of problem.

That's a good idea, I'll let my indoor cat licks and clean the plate and bowl and then put them away! LOL! Oh yes, all cats groom and clean their rear ends, too, and even dogs clean and lick their rear ends, too. Some dogs love to drink these toilet water and some dogs love to eat cat litter boxes, too. Yup, it is true. Have's a nice meow day!

If the friends were bothered by the pets, they shouldn't have come back for a repeat dinner, but should rather made different arrangements like dining at a restaurant or inviting the dog owners over to their house.

I only have one comment/question.... I really get tired of the comments of anyone that Cheney got their buddies killed. or similar comments...
IF you and your buddy were in Afghanistan TODAY and the same things happened.... What would you say about the President that PROMISED to bring all Americans home "Early" in his first term....

How the hell do we go from our loving and loyal pets to the war in Afghanistan. Sometimes I wonder about you people. TOO MUCH TIME ON YOUR HANDS to go with the flow and try to upset any harmony in the post...GET A FRICKIN LIFE, if you don't like the post go find someone else to harass.

My deepest sympathy. I think your pet will provide some comfort during this time.

Sorry Sarg69 I've been a little busy. Thank you for your kind thoughts. Even the poor dog does not what is happening.
