Great capture of our president, Shootr.

Yeh, I think you were right again. Here comes the smaller version. What a difference a good night sleep makes.

I still have a mint condition 1984 Reagan-Bush button. I was a supporter of Reagan and later Bush and believe, no I know, those were the good old days. The button is in better condition than the picture I just shot. Who needs the picture when you have the button?

I tried to upload a picture of the button but it does not upload. Anyone know why?

Jack,
Could be the resolution is too high, recheck and make sure it is within the UHH guidelines.

Hello Judy. I Have lived in Plainfield since 1956. Quite a different community back then. But we still like it. Of course Avon has changed much also.

I'm trying to eliminate the words "shot" or "shoot" from my photo vocabulary. I photograph too many politicians and was just at the President's visit at the Phoenix Intel plant. Secret service and security isn't real happy about those two words.
Anytime you photograph a President, you have a real piece of history in your hands.

I guess those words can be sensitive, better to say making images?

The Secret Service can be very sensitive. Years ago I was at a convention, photographing a president. I was leaning on a deactivated speaker podium on the convention floor, Secret Service came over and said I couldn't touch the podium. Oh what fun.

Shootr....good to meet another Hoosier. We have lived in Avon since 1999...before that in the Ben Davis area.
Avon has indeed changed....the traffic can get on your last nerve. Have a good evening.

Photogirl does not have a tactless bone in her body, just a funny bone.
I was referring to your tactless comment. How do you like it?

Swinging shiiiit at another poster is tacky. This forum is like a boomerang you throw shiiiiit it may come back and hit you in the face.

You just do not seem to get it Averley. Nothing wrong with photogrl but your insinuation is worse than tacky.

Hope this is not a repeat but this is a photo of the "lapel pin" issued by Secret Service which was my pass without restriction to do my photography. Note the size relative to the paper clip

keep it forever and pass it on to the next generation. Now, tonque in cheek, is that a large paper clip or an itty bitty one?
I like the username SHOOTR. some wackos may try to outlaw it though.
