Great abstracts Pat! Way to go girl!
Thanks, Clicker. May be able to try again today. Have to see if my off camera flash will work on a stand without using the pop also.

Fun yes, but I'm finding it isn't that easy. I'm guessing the key is the remote flash after watching the video. I have deleted alot of black or out of focus frames. Then I finally actually got some with

Good Morning! Couldn't sleep, so played around a bit....
You have beautiful smoke photos and love all your playing Clicker!
My smoke providers provided some of my best shots. :)
Very well done RR! I like it very much!

Great job Clicker2014! You do so well with smoke! I love doing smoke also, well maybe I use to...as now that I have looked at everyone's wonderful pictures and am now sweating and shaking with panic! I haven't been here to participate lately because I got a call at work & my son told me that we had 3 power poles and transformers blow up (2 which are in my yard), which set 3 large power surges through my house and many neighbors. They finally got our power back on but didn't check all the lines properly. Two days later my son called me again at work (he just got home from work) and he could hear popping and snapping sounds. I dashed home to find a surge protector under my husbands desk burning. Edison didn't check the neutral line coming into my house before turning the power back on! I have spent several days now testing each of my plug outlets to make sure they have proper voltage and slowly plugging things back into all new surge protectors and still have not finished them all yet. Thank God my son came home from work instead of stopping off at his buddies or I might not have a home! I haven't slept much since.
Oh my! That is terrible! Yes, you were very lucky....I have been through a fire and not a fun thing! Hope you get straightened out quickly and can relax again. Such a worry!
Now...forgive me...but did you get a picture of the smoke! ...sorry, it was just there. ....probably the last time you will send me a compliment! ;-)

How scary! So glad it worked out as it did. Don't even want to think of "what if"s
Dutchbug, glad everything is OK!
Challenge-Smoke.....
I got these from just blowing out a candle! Backed with black poster board and west window for the highlight of the smoke.
PP'd a bit for different colors. Had to work fast as it only lasted a couple of seconds!
Smoke and away
Dance of smoke
What a unique idea lnightng! It worked pretty well! Hope you don't mind, I did a levels adjustment in Elements just to define it a bit so we could see what it would look like by blackening the background. Again, hope you don't mind! Clicker
