James, they're as good as it gets! Absolutely second to none!

Wherever you've been trying to get...you're there!

James, great job as always!! I agree, the Wildlife Officers at Reelfoot are a great bunch of people!! I was there once with my camera and no one else was around and one of the officers let me go inside the eagle enclosure and take a few quick shots. TNmike

Getting better anyway... doubt I can ever get up to your level, but it sure is fun and challenging trying. I spent a lot of time practicing on wildbirds at the feeder knowing this trip was coming. Practice pays...!

Hi Mike...yes they sure are a great bunch. They made sure we got away with outstanding photos and opportunities. There were a few in our group that got to go inside the enclosure. Since it wasn't on the schedule....darn it, I missed out. I think they snuck over and slipped them a $20, just kidding, but you should be very proud of the work the rangers do in your area in preserving the wildlife and teaching the public.

Beautiful photos, James. It's always wonderful to know there are caring organizations to try to help rehabilitate injured wildlife.

These are beautiful shots of owls, James. On that first one, you can actually see its tongue! It's too bad about the juvenile; thank goodness they're are places like these to care for these beautiful birds.

Folks, here are some owls that the gracious Park Rangers at Reelfoot Lake brought out for us to photograph. These are all recuperating from injuries of some sort. Sadly the last owl in the set is a young screech owl that was hit by a car. The vet seems to think it may never be able to live in the wild again.

Outstanding.

Great shots James. Could not pick a favourite. So sad about the little fellow.
