The six different Robins were in our yard and in our neighbor's yard so the distance varied from 25 to 35 feet on a cloudy day with some rain showers.
All were shot at 600mm.

Thank you very much, Dave. I don't have to work anymore since I'm retired so I have the time to devote for my photography hobby. Lucky me.

Retirement is one step closer to heaven. Two ways to look at that.

Nice series, Regis. I saw grass in the one shot. I almost forgot what it looks like since we've had snow on the ground for weeks now.
I really enjoy viewing you photos. Thanks for posting.

Thank you, naturepics43. Three days ago our grass was covered with snow and tonight we will have more snow on it's way. So, it was kind of strange to see Robins here this time of year.

Well Regis, you are certainly showing off that Tamron lens.
Your photographs here all have strong definition. The first photograph (as viewed on my monitor) is a prime example at 150-600mm-1/160sec.-f/6.3-ISO-800 is quite remarkable, given it was cloudy, so well taken. Keep clicking and enjoy your photography as well as your retirement.

Great captures of a bird I can never get in a tree...running around the ground is the norm!
