Well Regis, you are certainly showing off that Tamron lens.
Your photographs here all have strong definition. The first photograph (as viewed on my monitor) is a prime example at 150-600mm-1/160sec.-f/6.3-ISO-800 is quite remarkable, given it was cloudy, so well taken. Keep clicking and enjoy your photography as well as your retirement.

Thank you very much, Leicaflex. Snow is coming down now here in North Idaho, so I doubt if I will see any Robins today.

Thank you very much, Erv. You will get some amazing detailed shots with your Nikon camera and the Tamron lens once you receive it in time for Spring shooting.

Great captures of a bird I can never get in a tree...running around the ground is the norm!

Thank you, gdewey. Most of the Robins were in the trees but a few were on the ground.

Excellent series. Your sure giving that lens a workout.

Thank you, VietVet. If the weather was better (it's snowing here now) I would be outdoors getting more shots.

Thank you, angler for your kind comment. Our Robbins are not as pretty as yours but we seem to have a lot of them in our area now.

None the less you are getting great images staying warm. That's a win win. I'm sure you would love to be out to really put this lens thru its paces. Excellent work.

Thank you again, VietVet. 3 inches of snow on the ground and it's still coming down so it will be awhile before I can drive to one of my favorite parks to get some bird and squirrel photos.

The six different Robins were in our yard and in our neighbor's yard so the distance varied from 25 to 35 feet on a cloudy day with some rain showers.
All were shot at 600mm.

Great shots Regis, you and the new lens are doing very very well

Thank you very much, Gregory. Soon, the Nikon owners will be very happy with their Tamron 150-600mm lens using a nikon mount.
